Our Career Development Workshops are just one example of how Today's
Students, Tomorrow's Teachers programs help prepare TSTT students
for the real world of teaching.
Today's Students, Tomorrow's Teachers held its bi-annual Career
Development Workshop for Westchester and Rockland County for high
school and college students at Manhattanville College. College students
preparing to graduate this spring participated in mock interviews
and attended workshops on the New York State Teacher Certification
process and workshops on surviving the first year of teaching. TSTT
high school students attended workshops on careers in education,
the use of technology in teaching math, financial literacy and management,
a college panel led by several college partners including admissions
officers from Iona College, Manhattanville College, and Syracuse
University.
