Today's Students Tomorrow's Teachers (TSTT) proudly celebrated the accomplishments of students, teacher mentors, school district partners, families, and community leaders during the 2026 Dutchess Regional Recognition Dinner held on May 26, 2026. The evening recognized students from Roy C. Ketcham High School and John Jay High School in the Wappingers Central School District, Valley Central School District, and Arlington High School in the Arlington Central School District. Guests were welcomed by Jill M. Pisculli, TSTT Regional Program Manager for Dutchess County, who acknowledged the strong partnerships among school districts, educators, families, and community supporters that continue to strengthen TSTT's mission of preparing the next generation of educators. Opening remarks were delivered by Dr. Dwight Bonk, Superintendent of Wappingers Central School District, who encouraged students to remain focused on achieving their educational goals and challenged them to one day return to their communities to serve as teachers and educational leaders. Special guest Ms. Ahira King-Wilson also offered words of encouragement, inspiring students to continue striving for excellence.

The evening celebrated the achievements of TSTT's graduating seniors, who were presented with Senior Recognition Awards and the program's signature Green Apple Awards. Honorees included Mikaela Beaubrun, Kimora White, and Anahi Landivar from Roy C. Ketcham High School; Mason Bobadilla, Damien Wood, and Selena Herrera from Valley Central High School; and Andrew Robinson, Lond'n Powell, and Breanne McDonald from Arlington High School. Their unwavering commitment exemplifies the vital role mentors play in cultivating caring, committed, and competent teachers.

A special letter from Dr. Bettye H. Perkins, Founder, President, and CEO of TSTT, was shared with the students, reminding them, "It is truly an honor and privilege to celebrate your outstanding achievements. You have worked hard and come so far to reach yet another milestone on your journey. The world needs your voice, your energy, and your commitment now more than ever before. At Today's Students, Tomorrow's Teachers, we believe that today's graduates become tomorrow's leaders—and I see a room full of leaders ready to make a difference. The future is brighter because of you, and know that TSTT will always be here for you."
