Continuing the Vision: Cultivating, Caring, Committed, and Competent Teachers – 2026 Regional Recognition Events

For more than 30 years, Today's Students Tomorrow's Teachers (TSTT) celebrated the accomplishments of its students, graduates, alumni, teacher mentors, school districts, college partners, and supporters through a single Annual Recognition Brunch. While this tradition honored the success of our future educators, TSTT recognized the opportunity to make the celebration more inclusive by bringing it directly into the communities where our students learn, grow, and serve.

In 2026, TSTT launched Regional Recognition Celebrations across Dutchess, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, Bridgeport (CT), and Westchester under the theme, "Continuing the Vision: Cultivating, Caring, Committed, and Competent Teachers." This new approach allowed significantly more students, families, educators, school and district leaders, college partners, businesses, and community supporters to participate in recognizing student achievement. By celebrating locally, each region was able to showcase the unique partnerships that make the TSTT teacher pipeline successful while strengthening community pride and engagement.

These regional celebrations honored TSTT students,  graduating seniors, college graduates, alumni educators, teacher mentors, and the many partners whose commitment makes TSTT possible. Together, they demonstrated that preparing the next generation of diverse educators is a shared community responsibility.
